The Keith House

The Keith family was from San Francisco, and they built their home beside the Atkinson Toll Road which later became known as the Foster Truck Trail. The family built this home which was large for its time with a living room, dining room and kitchen downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. One daughter of the Keith family was a teacher and one room was built outside which became known as the Keith School. The Keith's home had a barn and a stone milk house which can be seen in the picture today.
